Bushwalk
You are invited to join us on a bushwalk in St. Andrews on Saturday 20 March. There will be a choice of walks for both more and less energetic walkers, as well as a late afternoon walk to watch kangaroos.
The walks will be led by Georges Bernard, a Belgian from Antwerp who has lived in this bushy part of Melbourne for 20 years. He is a CFA fire fighter and has in-depth local geographical knowledge of the area.
St Andrews is a township that nearly suffered a total wipe-out in the Black Saturday bushfires. On Saturdays a market is held, the bakery is open as well and refreshments are available at the Hotel and the market.
